Acquiring PermitLV

First, we will consult with you to determine your exact needs and send you a proposal.

If your municipality issues purchase orders, we will fulfill your order after receipt.

If not, we will email an order form, Simply sign and email it back.

You will need as many user licenses that will be in use at one time.

For example, if you purchase 2 user licenses, you may install the software on more than 2 computers. But only 2 at one time may use the system.

Server Requirements:

Microsoft SQL Server OR SQL Express (SQL Express is free from Microsoft)

Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (free from Microsoft)

Teamviewer Quick Support v15 or higher (free from Teamviewer)

Workstations:

Windows 10 Pro

Operational Questions

  • Click the Permits button on the left panel of the Main Menu.
  • Select the "Create A New Permit Record" radio button and Click OK.
  • Select the type of permit you want to add, and whether it is for a new building, and select residential or commercial as appropriate.
  • You can look up existing property records to prefill the permit with address and owner information, or select the "Blank" option.
  • Click the Inspections button on the left panel of the Main Menu.
  • Select the type of Inspection you want to enter.
  • Click the "New Record" button on the Status Bar and follow the prompts.
  • Click the Fee/Issue Permit/Co tab at the bottom of any permit screen.
  • Click the Issue Permit button.
  • PermitLV will validate your entries, ask for any missing required information, the preview and/or print the permit. You may change the number of default copies when you print.
  • After you issue a permit sucessfully, the button label will change to "Reprint Permit".
  • Click Tickets/List button on the right panel of the Main Menu
  • Select the desired date
  • Select "Print Trip Sheet Only"
  • Select your choice for inspector(s)
  • Click OK

You can run the Permit Status Report to see 1) what permits have been issued but have no inspections 2) what permits have been issued and inspections have begun or 3) both.
